What is PMJDY ?
PMJDY means Pradhan Mantri Jandhan Yojna Scheme .Pradhan Mantri Jandhan Yojna was Announced in the August 15th 2014.But is was launched on 28th of August in 2014.The Main intention of the Government is to provides Zero Bank account for the Poor People .It is free account with Accidental insurance cover of RS.1 LAKH
DOCUMENTS NEED FOR THE OPEN ZERO ACCOUNT
1.Bank Application form.
2.Any ID Proof(Voter Id, Aadhar Card ,PAN Card )
3.4 Passport size Photos.
BENEFITS OF ZERO ACCOUNT
1.No minimum balance is required.
2.IT also provides the life Insurance will be the RS.30,000/-.
3.If we maintained the regular Tranctions for 6 months the account will be Over drafted Facility will be permitted.
4.Overdraft up to RS.5,000/- is available .
5.Accidental Insurance up to 1 Lake will be will be the given by HDFC Ergo
6.The Life Insurance will be the up to RS.30,000/- it was given by the LIC.
7.The Government of India also provides the Overdraft Facility 5000/-.After Maintaining regular Transitions minimum 6 months.
DISADVANTAGES OF ZERO ACCOUNT;
1.These Zero account having a disadvantages regarding the aggregate credits (should not excces the One lakh) in a Year.
2.Aggregate withdrawals limit (Not more than the 10 thousand Rupees in a month).
3.Balance in the Account (should not excess the fifty thousand rupees at any point of time.
